As a Senior Account Executive for United Guaranty, Sharon Knowles provides mortgage insurance and risk management expertise across Washington and North Idaho. In addition to serving as SMBA President, she is Programs Chair and has served on the board as a Director and Newsletter Editor. She has been recognized as a top sales executive within United Guaranty and received three national awards for her work as editor on the SMBA newsletter.
Knowles graduated from Western Washington University with a BA in Communications and a minor in Business Administration. She graduated from the school of mortgage banking in 1992. Sharon has been married to Phil for fifteen years and has a teenage daughter and 11 year old son. Sharon is an avid bicyclist and enjoys paddle boarding and boating. |

Tim Marymee has been active in commercial and residential real estate finance for over 26 years, and is currently a Vice President and loan officer with Washington Federal’s Income Property Lending Department. Tim joined Washington Federal in February 2003 after working for World Savings and Loan for almost 7 years. While at World, Tim held positions as a District Loan Underwriting Manager and also a Wholesale Loan Account Executive, servicing accounts in King and Snohomish counties. He also held underwriting and appraisal positions at Home Savings of America during the 1980’s and into the mid 1990’s.
Tim is former co-chairman of the Seattle Mortgage Bankers Association Income Property Group Committee, and former chairman of the Rental Housing Association of Puget Sound Associate Members Committee. He also volunteers at Food Lifeline, a local hunger relief organization. Tim earned his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of California at Davis. He and his wife Evelyn live in Kirkland.

Conrad Wouters is a native of Seattle with over 42 years of wide ranging banking
experience starting at National Bank of Commerce in 1967. He worked at Rainier
Bank the whole time it existed, and left Security Pacific Bank in 1991 to form
Federal Mortgage Company to concentrate on mortgage lending because he really
